Stampin' Up NEW Seasonal Holiday Catalogue is HERE...

Woo hoo, today I can finally share our new Seasonal Catalogue!!!!

YEAH!!! I looove this catty. It's filled with so much Halloween and Christmas goodness that I don't even know where to start, but I think I've finally got a list together!! So, here are my top "10" must haves from our new catty:

10) Black and Orange and Gold and Silver glitter, perfect for all occasions but especially for Halloween and Christmas!!

9)  I love this Builder a Banner set. You could just buy the Banner kit and make banners for any occasion, whether it's Birthdays, Baby Showers, Weddings or add on the Halloween/ Christmas Accessory Kits and you have everything you need for a perfect themed banner. Great activity to do with the kids.

8) Speaking of Halloween, what about this cute little stamp set. I can't wait for mine to come as it will be the perfect size to put on tags for the kids to make and
take some treats to school for their friends.

7) WASI TAPE.... You can never have to much washi if you ask me and these two packs are gorgeous. I also love the fact that these can be used at anytime, not just for Halloween or Christmas!!

6)  This bundle has to be one of the loveliest so far. The snowflake stamps are gorgeous but throw in matching framelits and you have a winning combination.

5)  And to add a special message to one of those gorgeous Snowflakes, well why not one of these lovely Christmas Messages stamps!

4) Gold and Silver cardstock. Perfect for making gift tags and bows with!

3) Chevrons are so "in" right now so what could be more perfect then a Chevron punch!!

2) Oh how I love my Bigshot and all the wonderful things I can do with it. These Thinlits are simply gorgeous and can be used on so many things, other then cards or scrap pages. No Fussy cutting here girls!!!

1) Wow we finally got to number one... I gotta say I love these Simply Sent card kits. They are just perfect for someone who wants to send handmade cards but doesn't have the time to sit and mass produce heaps. Everything is done for you, all you have to do it put them together!!!

So that's my top ten and gosh I had trouble narrowing it down to just that many. So why don't you go off and take a look for yourself and then come back and leave a comment, letting me know what YOU are most excited about!!

Have Fun,
Chlo

Triple Time Happiness

Morning Guys,

I've some how manged to not only get all the kidlits into school on the same day BUT I also have no housework or little jobs to do today, which means one whole day (between the hours of 9am -3pm anyway) of craft time. Can I hear a Woo Hoo!!!

So today, I wanted to share two of my latest creations with you all. First off is a card that I made for my Card Class which is on this upcoming Saturday. I love to teach my girls different techniques or trends that are hot at the moment and I realised that I hadn't shown them the Triple Time Stamping technique, which I just love.

Such a gorgeous, soft, girly card and I love the stamp set Everything Eleanor. Isn't it a beautiful technique too and so easy to make, as my class girls will find out on Saturday.

But when I was making this card, I thought how gorgeous it would be as a Scrapbook page. So the cogs started turning and I pulled out some cardstock and alittle while later and this is what I came up with...

OMG totally love how this came out. It's just so perfect for this photograph of me with my mum and my daughter on her Baptism day. A beautiful girly layout for three gorgeous ladies.

Oh and aren't those ribbon flowers simple lovely, I have a close up of them here.

So easy to make too. Gotta love easy lol.

While I was in town this morning I saw that my local Big W were selling 12x12 shadow box frames for $15 each and I had grabbed a couple on impulse, so now I have the perfect layout to put in one of them. The only problem is, when my mum sees this she'll be asking to take it home with her for her house lol

Have fun,
Chlo

Hello scrapping mojo, where have you been

I have a little confession to make. The thought of my upcoming scrapbook classes scared the life out of me. No, really it did. It's funny as that's how I got into all this, from scrapbooking. I have five albums on the go and three are full up. That's a lot of pages, but I haven't done a layout in about a year... well actually it's almost 2!!

But I got a few requests to run some classes and so I thought why not. But then the panic set in. What if I can't do it anymore? What if I've forgotten how to scrapbook...

Well I can tell you, its like riding a bicycle. You never truly forget. And the fact is, once I got over my fear it all came flooding back and I have LOVED every minute of it. So, I thought I would share a layout that I did today which was so quick and soooo much fun. This is one that you could do with the kids, it's that easy.

These are some photos of my two boys painting together at Preschool. It's extra sweet because they are no longer in the same age room and so this was the only time they got to hang out together as buddes.

I've used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and just picked four colours out of the photos and then pretty much just stamped them everywhere lol. I thought it was the perfect effect for some arty crafty school fun.

I also thought swaping around some of the letter from upper case to lower, just added to that relaxed, creative feel.

I had so much fun doing layouts again, that you can expect to see lots more to come!!

Have Fun,
Chlo

"But what about Christmas?" I hear you say. Yes don't panic, I will be doing a few Christmas card classes separately to my usual monthly card class, so stay tuned for those dates too.

Getting in on the trend!!

Am I the only one, who has noticed this sudden trend of Sunburst Cards? They are just flooding my Pinterest boards at the moment. Now I know I'm always late to the party, but I think this time I could be classed as fashionable late!

I used heaps of what I class as "new" products on this card because, firstly they are all from our new annual catty and secondly because they arrived in my order just before we moved and so have been sitting patiently in a box for the past few weeks.

I have to say, it came together much quicker then I thought and I love this colour combination too. Usually I see Basic Black with Melon Mambo, but I really don't like that pink at all. So then I suddenly thought I would pair it with one of the new In-Colours Strawberry Slush. It was just a little bit softer, but still gave that little kick sitting next to the black.

I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo above, but I have also used Black Embossing powder on both the sentiment and with the stamp from the Chalk Talk set.

I love the Chalk Talk stamp set. It has so many gorgeous phrases in it, oh and did I mention that it has matching framelits.... see nothing is better then that!!

And remember, you can buy any of these goodies, direct from me by emailing an order or why not hop on over to my store and see what other goodies we have that you may like.

Well it looks like my new craft room has been well and truly broken in. I've just got to find a way to keep it clean now... Hmmm, ideas in the comment box please!!

Have Fun,
Chlo

Change is better then a Holiday...

Have you every heard that saying? Well there has been some HUGE changes in my life lately which I could only compare it with a Caribbean holiday or something lol.

My Hubby and I have just recently been through the experience of selling our house and buying a new one. O.M.G they weren't kidding when people said moving house is one of the most stressful things you could ever do. But we've done it and finally moved into our new, much larger, house last week.

But what does this mean for my craft area I hear you cry... or maybe that's just what I kept saying to hubby!!

Well, luckily for me, our new house has had it's garage converted into two rooms. One has now become a playroom for the children and the other... well lets just say it's been turned into a playroom for me!!!

So before I finally show you pictures of my new space. I wanted to remind you where I use to stamp...

Yep, before the move, I had some space in our bedroom to keep all my goodies. Which was great until Hubby wanted to go to bed!!

So this is a photo of my new scraproom after we had moved in... You can imagine it already, can't you!!

Hmm, it wasn't looking very creative at the time. But within a week I had unpacked the rest of the house, which then gave me time to FINALLY get around to sorting out my room, the most important room, well I think so anyway!!

So with no further ado, here it is...

This is the view as you come in through the doorway. This is my table. which is all set up for my monthly card and scrapbooking classes. Oh and dates for my next classes are coming up, so stay tuned!!

This photo was taken from the other corner (I'm standing on a chair lol) You can see my lovely Expedit bookcase (I LOVE IKEA) as well as my new Brag Wall, where I have hung up some of my Cards and Scrapbook pages. Below is a closer look.

Oh and this is a photo of my new ribbon holder!! Pretty pleased with this idea actually. This is what I use  to use to hang the cards I sold at the markets on, but as I haven't done any for a while, it has been sitting in a box. I suddenly had a brain storm and thought it would be perfect to hang the ribbon from. Don't you love it when a plan comes together!!!

Oh and lastly I thought I would quickly share some scrapbook pages, that I had done a...g...e...s ago.

So that's all for today, I can't wait to have my next card class in my new place and show all my girls oh and I don't forget my very first Scrapbooking class will be held soon too. It's just far to exciting!!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Have Fun,
Chlo
