Doesn't it look absolutely darling.

A Tri Fold Triangular Card - It Starts With Art

Today's tutorial is called a Tri-Fold Triangular card and it is one of the best fancy folds I have done in a while. I've seriously had so much fun with this card and I've been looking forward to sharing this technique with you.

If you scroll further down you will find not only the measurements for this fold but also my weekly video tutorial. But first lets see a few photos:

I have to admit it wasn't the easiest card to photograph, but hopefully the photo's give you some idea on how the fold works.

I have really enjoyed using the It Starts With Art stamp set and just keep finding more uses for it. The fact it comes with dies too, is a huge added bonus. And how pretty is the Follow Your Art designer series paper. Just perfect together!

Card Measurements:

Card Base: 10 1/4" x 4" - Two of these
Pattern paper square: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Cardstock square: 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Pattern Paper front: 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" - Two of these
Whisper White middle: 3 3/4" x 5 1/4"

Finally here is the video tutorial. Please subscribe to my channel and ring the little bell button so you'll be notified every time I post a new video.

And if you want to get your hands on some of the items that I have used on this card today, please head on over to my store. It's open 24hrs and I can ship anywhere in Australia.

Happy Crafting,
Chlo

Never Ending 50th Card - Piece of Cake

When you have a special birthday coming up and you need a special card, you can't go past a fancy fold card, but sometimes they can be super tricky and fiddly and then don't quite fold like they should.

Well I needed to make a special 50th card and decided that maybe it was time I tried out the Never Ending fold. I was pretty nervous about it, but let me tell you it was as easy as 1,2,3...

This is the starting page:

This is the second fold:

This is the 3rd fold:

And finally the last fold:

From the last fold, it will then fold around again and you will be back to the beginning!! And the actual main part of the card is only made out of two piece of cardstock, in my case I've used Petal Pink, and I think it was about 6 score lines.

I have been wanting to use the new Piece of Cake stamp set and coordinating punch ever since it arrived in my pre pre-order. I think it goes absolutely perfectly with this card.

Honestly this type of card is so simple, I think the hardest part was choosing which pieces of designer series paper I wanted to use!!

Happy Crafting,
Chlo
