Hello Friend - 2020/22 Incolors

I can't believe the annual catalogue goes live in 4 days and you guys will all finally get to take the new incolours home with you.

To celebrate these awesome new colours I thought I would use them on a card, which design shows them off to the fullest.

I just love this idea of a block of colour against a white background. But as usual I couldn't just leave it white, so I used the awesome brick wall embossing folder to give the card some texture. It also made me think of the bold pop of colour as a piece of modern art on a gallery wall.

This colours are beautiful and pair so nicely with our current incolors too. If you would like to get your hands on all of these fab new colours plus all the embellishments, cardstock and other awesome products that coordinate, then maybe joining my Incolor Club is right for you. For a small monthly subscription, you will received a bundle of incolor goodies each month for 5 five months. For all the details and what's included just click HERE.

Just Add Ink #361 Theme Challenge - Lovely Friends

As promised I am now back with another card using not only the stamp set from the Lovely Friends bundle but also the amazing framelits too. Now these stamps are gorgeous and totally rock on their own, but the framelits are outstanding and so much fun.

My card was created for the Just Add Ink challenge, which this week is a just add watercolour, washi or flowers.
http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/2017/05/just-add-ink-361just-choose-two.html

I have been playing with the Smooshing technique that Narelle Farrugia used a few weeks ago on another card and I loved it. It still gives this great watercolour look but you have a little more control over it, if that makes sense. Anyway, here's my card:

I used two different colours, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist, for my Smooshing and even though I did follow Betsy Veldman's Smooshing technique, I changed it slightly as I didn't actually put my cardstock face down onto the acetate. Instead i flipped it and I put my acetate face down onto the cardstock instead. I found that this way I had more control with being able to see exactly where the ink was moving too.

Ok so now I'll show you the inside:

Isn't that amazing!! It's so clever and just looks fantastic. The framelits cut the cardstock with all the folds and slits in the right places and they are so easy to pop together. I did find that you will need some extra strong tape to stick it together because after opening and closing it a a few times (or in my case lots of times, because I was so pleased with it) they can come apart.

So which two will you choose for this weeks challenge? I can't wait to see all the amazing creations that I know you guys will come up with.

Happy Crafting,
