Festive Friday #38
I'm late again with uploading my Festive Friday Challenge... I have no idea where the time goes lol.
Ok so this weeks challenge was a very simple sketch challenge. Well I say simple, but that in it's self is a challenge for me. I'm all about layers and and extra trim and bling.
Here is the Sketch for the week:
Simple isn't it. Well I confess I couldn't just add a small sentiment AND I really wanted to use the Ornament Keepsake stamps AND I had the new (and so very scrummy) Sugar and Spice Embossing Powder... Ok enough excuses lol.
So I did add a little Trim and Bling, but I think I stuck to the sketch pretty closely. Oh and the embossing powder smells like Christmas in a bottle, all cinnamon and spicy. And two weeks later and it still smells just as strong.
So why don't you pop on over, have a peek at what the other talented girls have come up with and take up the challenge. It's such a great fun way to kick start those Christmas cards, because you know it's 12 weeks today until Christmas Eve!!
Have Fun,
Chlo

Holiday Catalogue ESAD Blog Hop
Yeah!!! It's time for another ESAD Blog Hop and this time we are doing the new Holiday Catty!! Gotta love Christmas.
So just a quick reminder who is ESAD...
ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin" Up! demonstrators.
We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.
So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group
So you can start at any point in the hop and it will loop you all the way back round. You may have come here via Sam Simpson and seen her gorgeous creations. Isn't she super talented!!
Anyway, for this hop I couldn't get pass the gorgeous Ornament on the front page of the catty. I actually have three different versions to show you today as my GF's and I got together one Friday night and decided to give it a go.
I still don't know which one is my favourite colour combo. The first one, which is mine, is Elegant Eggplant and Crumb Cake. Second one, which is Amy's, is Raspberry Ripple and Crumb Cake. And the last is Trace's, which is Island Indigo and Pool Party.
Don't they all look gorgeous and not bad for a first attempted. They are actually pretty easy to make, just a little time consuming. There are also heaps of really good video tutorials on the net too, so take a Google!!
I have also just finished one using one of the other shapes in the Ornament Keepsake bundle, but I'll share that another time!!
Ok, so now it's time to move on and visit the rest of the ESAD girls. Next on the hop is Tess, over at Stampin and Stuff with Tess and her creations is nothing short of beautiful. These girls are sooo talented!!

Shaker, Shaker frames!!
Hey guys,
Has anyone seen the new Shaker Frames in the Annual catty??? Didn't think so. Even after I saw them popping up all over Pinterest, I still couldn't find them. But on the bottom of page 177, right in the middle you'll see them.
They are just a ring of double sided foam, a bit like foam mount, which you stick onto card stock, fill with glitter and then stick the other side to a window sheet.
This video is perfect for showing you what I mean lol.
Anyway I wanted to make something super special for my beautiful hostess Casey, who had a workshop yesterday. I thought these would be perfect!!

Don't you just love the colours. I have used so much new stuff that I don't even know where to start!! We have the new Ornament Keepsake Bundle, Champagne Glimmer Paper, Fancy Fan Embossing folder... the list is endless.
Anyway, everyone loved making them. And the shaker frames are so cheap to make that you can't go wrong!!
Have a fun weekend,
Chlo
