Sending a little Something - Butterfly Brilliance

This awesome Butterfly Brilliance bundle is coming to you all very soon, but as demonstrators we got to pre-order this set a little earlier. One of our many perks of joining up!

I had actually created this first card as part of a project for the Artisan team. Ar first I couldn't really decide on what to use first. I loved the big stamp, I loved the dies that cut all the little details, but what I really loved was the die that not only cuts of the big stamp, but also cuts of some of the butterflies on the coordinating Designer series paper. And so that's what I use to create the card.

The bottom of the card is stamped with the large stamp in Blushing Bride, which i did stamp off beforehand. I also added some splatters with the black Stampin' Write Marker.

 

The sentiment comes from another stamp set called Fancy Phases, which I heat embossed on to Blushing Bride cardstock and then cut into strips.

So when I was tidying up, I realised I had heaps of other butterflies left over on my desk (Did I mention the die cuts out all 6 from one sheet of pattern paper) and so I thought I had better CASE myself but change up the colours. So here are two more cards, same design but in different colours.

Wow, we finally made it home after a very long journey. Our 5 hour flight was delayed by an hour due to a huge storm that hit Nadi, just as we were going to board. And when we did finally make it to Sydney, we then had a 4 hour drive back to beautiful Port. Finally rolled into bed by 1.30am.

Cute Gift Tags for cute gifts

I really love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for so many reasons. We have so many perks, awards and recognitions that it makes it so easy to stay "active". But the one thing I love the most, is the friends you make and being part of such a wonderful family. And that's really what it feels like, whether it's within your Uplines team or at Stampin' Up! Conventions or with your own Downline. There are also a few FB pages that are demo only, where we all share hints, tips, advice and of course things we make.

Today's inspiration came from a fellow Aussie demo who I met through one of these FB pages. Bonnie Gillett , who is a super talented demo, shared these amazing gift tags that she had made using our new Little Letter Thinlit dies. As soon as I saw them I knew they would be perfect for Christmas and I had to make some for my upcoming Christmas Craft Market.

Gorgeous right!! They will look beautiful on a present under the Christmas tree I think. I used Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke for the plain cardstock and then I did one in the Gold foil (which is on the Weekly Deals list this week) and the other in Red Glimmer. The Little Letters cut through all the different cardstocks with no problems at all. Oh and lining them up and keeping them straight was easy peasy with the Magnetic Platform.

Of course, you know me, once I had made them in the "Traditional" colours I had to try them in what I call "Snow" colours:

 

This time I used, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Silver Foil and Silver Glimmer. Just beautiful!!

Envelope Punch Board

OH. MY. GOODNESS... I complete forgot to tell you about this AMAZING new tool that Stampin' Up! have just released. It's called the Envelope Punch board and it's AWESOME!!!

This amazing little tool, can make 66, yep that's the right number, not a typo. 66 different size envelopes and the best bit is it's so easy, fast and simple to do.

I don't know if your like me, but when it comes to our gorgeous DSP I can sometimes be a bit of a hoarder. Yes, ok I'm a HUGE hoarder lol. I have so much retired paper that I never know what to do with it.... UNTIL now that is!!!

Our DSP is perfect for making gorgeous, matching envelopes to put our beautifully created cards in. And with all the instructions, measurements, score tool and even it's own punch, all fitted on this little baby, you can score as you go!!

Oh and guess what and this is the clincher.... It doesn't just make envelopes!!! I know, exciting stuff right. But that's enough for now. More on what else this little baby can do another time.

Best of...

Beginning of the month again, which means a new 'Best of' stamp set and this time it Best of Sale-a-Bration!!

I really like this set and I'm surprised how many of them I remember for Sale-a-Brations over the years!!

Christmas Extra Fold Thinlit Card

Yep you read that right. My Thinlit card for you today is a gorgeous Christmas card, with an extended fold!! So lots of space to decorate, plus room to write a beautiful message to you loved one!!

So a super quick post with lots of photo, just what I love :-)

First photo is the front of the card, and I'm using the lovely Joyful Christmas Stamp set today. I have also used lots of the little framelits that come in the Thinlit pack.

This next picture is the first fold...

Followed by the secret, extra panel!!

And here is it, all folded back up again, ready to be popped in the mail for Christmas. I might not have mentioned that once this cards are folded up, they still fit in a normal size envelop. how cool is that!!!
