Share What You Love Promotion -

There is always something new that Stampin' Up! brings out and I'm in love with. It's usually a new stamp set, die, tool or colour. But If I'm honest I never really get that excited about our Designer Series Paper. I guess it's because I'm a bit of a hoarder and the really beautiful paper I refuse to cut up. But that has all changed since I got my hands on the new Share What You Love designer series paper.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the whole suite is stunning. The Artisan pearls are delightful and the coordinating stamp sets are stunning. But for me, it's the paper that really wins me over. It's absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and you all need to take it home with you.

It looks gorgeous in the photo, but it's nothing compared to it in really life. And the best part is, you get 24 sheets of each. Yep, the pack is double our normal size, which means even us hoarders can cut into it, without stressing about it. Absolutely brilliant!!

Here is a super quick card that I whipped up with one of the stunning designs. I just know my girls are going to go cray cray over it.

Isn't that super pretty! I used the coordinating stamp set called Love What You Do for the sweet sentiment.

It's a shame the camera couldn't quiet pick up the pearlised flowers that are on several sheets of the paper pack. It really is gorgeous. And it's not a Demonstrator only perk either. YOU can get your hands on some of the goodies in this suite right NOW, during a very special pre-order.

There are three different Bundles available , each with different FREE items too! So why not click HERE and take a look at this special offer today!

Guest Designing for Kelly Kent and her Paper Adventure Team - Bella and Friends

Hello guys and welcome to my little corner or craftiness. When the beautiful Kelly Kent asked me to be a Guest Designer and take part in her teams, the Paper Adventures, blog hop, I was so excited and thrilled.

https://mypapercraftjourney.com/2018/02/09/paper-adventures-team-blog-hop-animals/

The theme of the hop is Animals and I decided it was time to make a card using the gorgeous Bella and Friends stamp set.
I actually needed a card for a fellow demo and gorgeous friend who has recently injured herself and was feeling a little bit down. I knew this card would be perfect for her. Just like receiving a hug in an envelope.

The sentiment from this set fitted perfectly and so I decided  to keep my card pretty clean and let the gorgeous "Bella" stand out.

Thank you so much for dropping by today and visiting. Now it's time for you to carry on the fun, by hoping over to the amazing Kelly Kent herself and seeing her gorgeous creations.

Just Add Ink #394 Just Add Romance - Heart Happiness

I can finally say it... My kids are going back to school this week!! Yep, that's right. The kiddies and I have just spent 10 weeks together, non stop, every single day. And to be honest with you all, they are just as excited to be going as I am to be sending them!!

But what will I suddenly do with my special, child free time? Crafting of course!! And what better way to get my mojo kick started, but with a card for my amazing design team, the Just Add Ink crew.
This weeks challenge is all about Romance and with Valentines Day just around the corner, it couldn't have come at a better time.
My card is one that I made for the OnStage Display stampers board and uses the gorgeous and very popular Heart Happiness stamp set:
This stamp set has been a huge hit with my customers and fellow demos and I think we'll be seeing lots of more gorgeous creations with it.

I loved the idea of mixing my raining hearts with the softness of Powder Pink with some gorgeous gold embossing powder.

Now usually I don't like to mix my metallics too much, but I believe it's all the trend this season and so I thought 'why not give it ago'. I have used the gold embossing, with a Champagne foil frame and the silver trimmed Berry Burst ribbon. I think I actually like them all together!

Well that's it for me today. Make sure you head on over to the Just Add Ink page and check out all the other creations the rest of the team have come up with.

A very musical Christmas - Star of Light

Can you believe it's only 4 days until Christmas!! Are you ready? Presents are wrapped? has the tree been trimmed? I think I am pretty much there. I even managed to squeeze in a few special birthdays too.

So today's share might well be my very last Christmas card for the year. I say it "might" be because we all know that feeling of receiving a Christmas card in the post and not having one to post back, so I may have to whip up another one!!
This was another super quick card that we actually made in class last month. I love the look of cutting our designer series paper on an angle and adding a trim of coordinating cardstock or glimmer to the edge. Gives it a really nice finish, I always think.
And of course I used that gorgeous glimmer star from the Star of Light framelits. I love that die, it makes any card go from nice to amazing!!

Well I better get on with all my last minute wrapping before the kids go on a Christmas hunt and find them all!!

The never ending Christmas list - Hearts come Home

My beautiful Nan and I got to do a bit of Christmas shopping today and it was so much fun getting to spend time with her. She's my most favourite person in the world and I miss her the most when I'm living in Australia. It's times like today that I will always cherish!!

And even though the Christmas present list, seems like it's complete, I know the Christmas cards aren't yet and to help inspire you and myself, I have another super simple but gorgeous card using the Hearts come Home Stamp set.
I think this stamp set has been my most used set from the Holiday Catalogue and I was very pleased to see that it had carried over.

I teamed up the gorgeous sentiment and stamped houses with the stunning Year of Cheer designer series paper, which I just realised has actually sold out. Not that I'm at all surpised by that, it really was lovely.

The Year-end Sale has been so hugely popular and lots of product have already sold out. If you are still wanting to grab something from the list, you better get your (ice) skates on!!
