So much more to love - Love What You Do

Have you ordered your Share What You Love bundle?!?!? If you are still on the fence (which I can't believe anyone would be!!) I have yet another card to share.

Oh my goodness, I just can't get enough of these papers and even the more "plain" sheets are stunning. For this card I used one of those sheets as my card base and then fussy cut, a few of the lovely pearly flowers out to add a little bit of magic to my card front.

I used the sentiment from Love What You Do, because I can never have enough cards that can be used for any occasion.

A little velum panel and a piece of silver Glimmer, finishes the whole card off perfectly!

Welcome Baby - Animal Outings

Being an Onstage attendee back in April, it meant that I got to bring home a few brand new stamp sets, before anyone else and the freebie in our bag this time was a super cute stamp set called Animal Outings.

I love all the stamps in the set, but for obvious reasons the kangaroo with a koala in her pouch, was a huge hit with myself and fellow Aussies. Now, I do understand a few people were a little upset about the koala in a kangaroo's pouch, but I really thought this would make such a beautiful adoption card.

I was going to keep the whole card neutral, and I really love this gorgeous vanilla and gold designer series paper, but at the last minute I couldn't help myself and added a little pink boarder to back it on... guess this will be going to a little baby girl now!!

Embossing the Roo onto some crumb cake cardstock, really made the image pop, but doesn't take any focus away from all that gorgeous gold paper.

The Animal Outings stamp set can be found in the new annual catalogue which is released in June. But while you wait, why not pop over and check out what goodies are on offer on the Retirement List!!

Mermaids and Magic - Magical Day

The retirement list is out for another year and I was so chocked to see the Magical Day stamp set and Thinlits on the list. Seriously, this set is awesome and just about perfect for everybody.

I wanted to make sure I got around to using this bundle just one more time before I have to say Goodbye to it, thought it might stay in my stash for a little while yet!!
I held a Bokeh Technique class last month and this was one of the cards we made, using a left over strip of the Bokeh cardstock. I just love how the colours we used make it look like the little mermaid is swimming around under the ocean.

One thing that isn't retiring, but carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue, are the Celebrate You thinlits. These little babies were freebies in the Sale-a-Bration catty and were so popular, they found their way into the 2018/19 catalogue. I'm so pleased we get to use them for a little while longer, as I really do just love that "Amazing" die cut.

Don't forget to pop over to my STORE and take a peek at what else is on the retirement list and if there is a Must Have item there, put it in your shopping cart and buy it today before it sells out!

Pretty in Pink - Epic Celebrations

I'm so sad that I never got to share a card that I CASED from Karen Hallam using the awesome Epic Celebration stamp set from Sale-a-Bration.

Everyone mentions to me, how perfect this stamp set is for all the teenage boys in your life, but I happened to have a tom boy in my life and this set is perfect for her too.

Karen's card was gorgeous and when I cam across it, I knew I had to case it. But like I said I wanted to make it for my daughter and so I changed up the colours to give it a more feminine feel to it and I really do love it. I obviously had to make it in Karen' s boys colours too, as after all she did use my favorite colour combination!!

Such a quick and simple card, but perfect for everyone!!
