Painted with Love - Mini Treat Boxes

Happy hump day people. This post is coming to you all the way from the gorgeous South East coast of England. Yep, the fambam and I got here safe and sound. It's bitterly cold and hubby is already complaining about how much he misses Australia but I'm so thankful to be here with my family and loved ones.

So, I bet you are wondering what I might be sharing today? Well even though we had a 7 day Display Stampers blog hop last week, I still in fact have lots of new projects to show you. Some where made for Onstage and others were created with my preorder. So I thought, over the month of Dec I will mix a little of the old (Christmas cards) with a little of the new (Preorder and Occasions Catalogue).

So kicking starting us off today I have a little treat box that I made using the NEW designer series paper Painted with Love:
Isn't it cute!!

The little clear mini treat boxes fit perfectly in their little case and just a few hearts from Heart Happiness and you have a gorgeous gift for a teacher or a colleague. The gold just finishes everything off with a little bit of elegance!!

That's it from me today. If you would love to see what I'm up to while in the UK, I'll be posting my adventures on my Facbook page and Instagram. Would love it if you could pop over and check it all out!!

Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day 7: Concertina Fold Card

And here we are at our finally day. Day 7 of the Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop and what an incredible time we've all had.

I did warn you at the beginning that your wish list for the new Occasions Catalogue might grow longer longer with each hop. And after today's finale, I expect it to grow longer still.

So my final share is a gorgeous Concertina Fold card, that is super easy to make but looks amazing in real life. I have made a few of these for children's birthday parties, and have put the birthday boy or girls name on them. It's perfect when you have a child with an unusual name, as I expect they get very few personalised gifts. Today I left this one with just Happy Birthday so it could be used for anyone:
The card itself is made up with just one piece of patterned paper and I used the Petal Passion designer series paper, as I wanted the letters to be the hero of this card and this paper males a perfect background. Being black and white, it allows the stamping to shine and the letters to sparkle.

The stamps used are some of the flowers from the Perennial Birthdays stamp set, and I choose 6 different shades of pinks and purples to give an ombre effect. Pairing those stamped panels with coordinating cardstock and it really does make the whole effect beautiful.

This card folds nice and flat and will fit into a normal size envelope, so can be easily posted to that special person.

And that, ladies and gentleman, is that. I can not thank you all enough for the lovely comments you have left and I really do hope I have given you some inspiration and ideas.

http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2017/11/display03.htmlThe new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues really are amazing and I know you are all going to fall in love with them as much as we have!!

So its time for me to say farewell for now, but I really do hope you'll visit me again very soon, but for now it's time for you to take one last hop over to see Dawn Olchefske stunning creation.

Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day 6: Painted with Love Designer Series Paper

Good morning Sunday and welcome back to my second to last share for the Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop.

Today I'm sharing a card made with the stunning Painted with Love designer series paper:
I really love this card design and was thrilled at how gorgeous it turned out. It's the perfect way to use up scraps and while showing off this amazing patterned paper.

Yet again I had to pair this paper with the Heart Happiness stamp set as they go together like coffee and cake and just, well, make my heart happy!

http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2017/11/display03.htmlSo that ends my sixth day of sharing and blogging with you all. Tomorrow is our finally day, but don't be too sad as I have something beautiful to end with. Now hop your way over to Dawn Olchefske and I will see you tomorrow.

Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day 5: Perennial Birthdays Scrapbook Page

Happy Saturday Blog Hoppers. We are now on the finally corner or our amazing, creative journey and I'm really excited to share my day 5 creation with you all.

Today I wanted to share a scrapbook page that I made using use some of our gorgeous NEW Petal Passion designer series paper and a few stamps from the Perennial Birthday set:
This gorgeous photo of myself with my daughter was taken at our beach one lovely Saturday morning and I just love it. The colour are gorgeous and my darling little girl just looks so relaxed and happy. I wanted the page to be just as simple and beautiful so as not to compete with the photo, but enhance it.

It's funny how I'm not a gold girl, but lately I just love adding pops of gold to nearly everything I create. And the gold glimmer letters against the stark black and white cardstock and paper really do the job.

It's a little hard to see in the photo, but the black cardstock actually has the hardwood stamped in versamark and then heat set with clear embossing powder.

I stamped the flowers from Perennial Birthdays in versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used my trusty snips to fussy cut them out.

My daughter loved this layout so much, she decided it shouldn't sit in the family album but wants it framed and placed on her wall. Guess I know what she's getting for Christmas!

And now it's that time again, where I send you over to visit Dawn Olchefske and see what amazing creation she has to share today!

Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day 4: Sweet Little Something

Can you believe we are half way through guys! And I reckon, knowing these guys, the best is yet to come.

I thought it was time I share a super cute little bunny, who is going to make his first appearance in the upcoming Occasions catalogue. And between you and me, this little guys is going to be big hit:
Isn't he the cutest thing ever! All those fans of the Baby Bear stamp set are going to go crazy for this rabbit. He is a three step stamp and just like the bear stamp set, he is more like a photograph then a line drawing.

He is perfect for a baby card, like I used him for here, but he also has an Easter and Birthday sentiment.

I love making shaker cards and couldn't wait to make a Congratulations one. I added lots of sequins and a few of the little wooden hearts and stars. Top tip, when making shaker cards, so you find the sequin and glitter gets stuck to the window sheets? It's super annoying isn't it. Well if you gently wipe your Embossing buddy over the acetate it will remove the static and your sequins want be as attracted to it.

Thank you once again for blog hoping with us all. We really do all appreciate the comments and love you guys have been leaving for us.

Well I better not keep you any longer as I'm sure Dawn Olchefske has another spectacular design to share with you all!

Just Add Ink Challenge #387 Just add Colour - Santa's Sleigh

Yep, I'm back again with yet another post today, but this time I'm sharing my card for the Just Add Ink gang and we have a very Christmassy colour theme for you:
https://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/2017/11/just-add-ink-387colour.html
Ok, so I'm going to be completely upfront and say I hate red and green together! Yep, there I said it. Red and green really should never be seen and even though it's Christmas and traditional, I still hate it.

Which brings me on to confession number two. I didn't use Garden Green. I honestly couldn't bring myself to do it and I actually used Emerald Envy instead. You wanna see what is probably my one and only traditional Christmas card this year?!?!

Now I do really like me card. I've used an old favorite stamp set plus these two shades of red and green do look nice together. I really do think the gold glimmer Christmas tree makes the whole card pop.

I think I'll send this card to my darling Nan, who is a huge traditionalist, when it comes to Christmas. I know she will love it!!

Thanks for joining us and I do look forward to seeing all of your traditional cards this week.

Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day 3: Heart Happiness Card in a Box

Hooray for day 3 of the Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop. How crazy cool has it been so far!! I'm always blown away by the talent pool within Stampin' Up! demos. These girls are the cream of the crop.

Today I thought I would change it up a bit and give you a card and a box...
I know card in boxes are fairly old school these days, but they still have such a wow factor and when I saw the NEW Heart Happiness stamp set, I knew it would be perfect for this time of card.

I used the same two heart stamps and used both gold embossing powder as well as black memento ink. The smaller hearts come from the little heart die which is in the Mini Treat Bag die. I used the layering hearts to cut a few glimmer ones and then tied it all together with the "Love" sentiment found in the Sunshine Wishes die set.

The best part of this fun little card is that they fold flat and will fit into a standard size envelope and so can be posted to anyone who is special enough to receive it.

And so once again it is time to hop on over to visit Dawn Olchefske blog and take a peek at what exciting creation she has to share with us today.

Thank you for popping by and look forward to seeing you again tomorrow!

Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day 2: Petal Passion DSP and Perennial Birthday

Welcome back to day two of our Onstage Display Stamper blog hop and I hope you've enjoyed yourself so far. The girls have made some amazing displays and I don't know about you, but I know my Occasions catalogue wishlist is growing.

Today I thought I would share two cards that I made with our NEW black and white designer series paper, called Petal Passion.

The first card I left the paper as it was and just added a little silver glimmer boarder and a sentiment from another NEW stamp set called Perennial Birthday.

But for the second card I wanted to show how versatile this patterned paper was and I decided to use my new Stampin' Blends and coloured it in
Wow what a difference the Blends made. The card layout is the same and I kept the sentiment the same too, but just adding some colour to the paper has made this card go from lovely to stunning.
I can see myself using this DSP a lot and can't wait to try other ways to add colour to it.

Thank you for blog hoping along with us once again. I hope you are looking forward to day 3 as much as I am! But it's that time again to head over to the amazing Dawn Olchefske and see what amazing creation she has today!

Onstage Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day 1: Painted with Love Stacking Boxes

Wow I'm so excited to be able to finally share my Onstage Display samples that I made for Melbourne.

I was so lucky to get chosen and the new goodies that Stampin' Up! sent were awesome. So today and over the next 6 days myself and my global Display Stamping sisters are getting together to share all our stunning displays in a fun blog hop!

So the first creation I wanted to share was a set of three stacking boxes using the stunning NEW Painted with Love specialty designer series paper.

Isn't that new paper stunning!! The deep pinks, purples and peach team up perfectly with the brush sweeps of gold foil. And every single sheet in this pack has a gold foiled side and a plain side.

Because the paper is so beautiful and really the star of the show, I wanted to keep the embellishments simple and so I decided to add a few hearts from the NEW stamp set called Heart Happiness, which I gold embossed and fussy cut out.

I tied everything together with out lovely Berry Burst crinkled ribbon and gold sequins. I can't wait to feel these little boxes with yummies for someone special.

http://dostamping.typepad.com/dost.../2017/11/display01.htmlThank you for blog hoping along with us today. I really do hope you'll pop in again tomorrow and hop along again to see some more gorgeous projects. But now it's time for you to hop on over to Dawn Olchefske and check out what stunning master piece she has to share today!!

Onstage Local in Melbourne - Best Day Ever!!

So last weekend I had the most amazing couple of days at Stampin' Up! Onstage local in Melbourne.

I just love going to convention. I enjoy the presentations, seeing all the new goodies and of course the freebies but what I really love about Onstage is hanging out with like minded, crazy crafters.

Whether that's catching up with friends or meeting new people, that's what gets me going to convention again and again and again. In fact I haven't missed a Stampin' Up! event since I joined, almost 6 years ago and I have no plans to stop now.

So I wanted to share my weekend with you, but I warn you in advance that this post is about to get very picture heavy!

Melbourne is always a lot of fun especially when the sun is shining and the noodle festival is on. Such a great way to spend a Friday evening , with an awesome group of girls, eating Pad Thai and watching the "dragons" dance.

The next day, it was up bright and early to head on over to Onstage to hang out with some of the best people I know.

Oh and even more added excitement for me this year, I was chosen to be a Display Stamper and was asked to make 15 beautiful creations (more on these coming up over the next few days) with new goodies from the upcoming Occasion Catalogue. This was my display board and I just happened to be above the awesome Bronwyn Eastley and so we of course had to get a photo together.

My girls and I had the most amazing time. I got to stay with the gorgeous Liv Ingle from Inkreations and we had so much fun together.

And Stampin' Up! really did spoil up. Our tote bags were full of goodies and we all won a prize patrol too. I even got to walk the stage after being recognized for Leadership and Recruiting.

After I got home, Stampin' Up announced their top 50 Overall Demonstrators and I was listed at 35 out of 5,000!! It made me feel so thankful and grateful to all of you, my blog followers, my amazing customers, my gorgeous class girls and my awesome team. You guy's totally rock!!
