A very musical Christmas - Star of Light

Can you believe it's only 4 days until Christmas!! Are you ready? Presents are wrapped? has the tree been trimmed? I think I am pretty much there. I even managed to squeeze in a few special birthdays too.

So today's share might well be my very last Christmas card for the year. I say it "might" be because we all know that feeling of receiving a Christmas card in the post and not having one to post back, so I may have to whip up another one!!
This was another super quick card that we actually made in class last month. I love the look of cutting our designer series paper on an angle and adding a trim of coordinating cardstock or glimmer to the edge. Gives it a really nice finish, I always think.
And of course I used that gorgeous glimmer star from the Star of Light framelits. I love that die, it makes any card go from nice to amazing!!

Well I better get on with all my last minute wrapping before the kids go on a Christmas hunt and find them all!!

The never ending Christmas list - Hearts come Home

My beautiful Nan and I got to do a bit of Christmas shopping today and it was so much fun getting to spend time with her. She's my most favourite person in the world and I miss her the most when I'm living in Australia. It's times like today that I will always cherish!!

And even though the Christmas present list, seems like it's complete, I know the Christmas cards aren't yet and to help inspire you and myself, I have another super simple but gorgeous card using the Hearts come Home Stamp set.
I think this stamp set has been my most used set from the Holiday Catalogue and I was very pleased to see that it had carried over.

I teamed up the gorgeous sentiment and stamped houses with the stunning Year of Cheer designer series paper, which I just realised has actually sold out. Not that I'm at all surpised by that, it really was lovely.

The Year-end Sale has been so hugely popular and lots of product have already sold out. If you are still wanting to grab something from the list, you better get your (ice) skates on!!

Star of Light - Joy Fold Cards

Today's card is an extra special one as it has to go to an extra special person, my mum.

She was a little sad that the kids and I would be in the UK, while she will be back in India. So to make up for us missing each other, I wanted to make her something full of love!
Joy Fold cards are my favourite fancy fold to make. They are always so quick and simple, and use very little material. but always look amazing.

This one came out gorgeous, as I used the beautiful Star of Wonder stamp set and matching framelits. If you don't have this stamp set and dies yet, you need to order it straight away. I promise you wont regret it!!

The biggest, fancy star looks simply divine cut out in the glimmer paper and the silver goes beautifully with the Pool Party card base.

I left the inside pretty simple with a coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set. Just enough room to put a little message to my lovely mummy.

And keep an eye on your inbox, as my December newlstter will be winging it's way to you in the next few days and it has my class dates for next year on it. I really hope to see you in 2018!!

Hearts do come home for Christmas - Santa's Sleigh

So the kids and I are still in the UK and today we have been graced with snow!! Well when I say snow, i really mean more like sleet, which is snowy rain. And because it's too wet, the snow won't lay. Did you also know, it can be too cold to snow?!?!?

But the snow or lack of it, has not dampened our holiday and the kids loved being in the ice cold weather... me, not so much!!

But with the Christmas feeling well and truly in the air, today I wanted to share a card using the reindeer from Santa's Sleigh, coloured in with our Stampin' Blends.

I was really pleased with how this card came together and I love the layout too. I CASED the design from the uber talented Kelly Kent, and you can see her card HERE.

I really do love this sentiment from Hearts come Home. I think this year, knowing I was visiting the family for Christmas for the first time in 13 years, it was even more meaningful.

That's it from me today. I'll leave you with a family photo that my hubby took of us at Trafalgar Square. London was an amazing experiences and we even got to see the Queen!!

Sweet Little Somebunny - Baby Boy Card

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me.... Happy 1st of December guys. Did you all get to open up your first advent calendar door? There's nothing more fun then being allowed to eat chocolate first thing in the morning!!

So today, I was tossing up chasing some Christmas cards but I thought I might share have some more sneak peeks from the Occasions catalogue instead... after all Christmas is still 24 days away ;-)

I thought it might be time to share some more from the Sweet Little Something stamp set and that gorgeous Bunny again. This time I changed it up and went for a more male card:
Perfect card for a first birthday or to celebrate the birth of a little boy. I really do love how awesome this bunny stamps and how different colours work in different ways together. This one for example is stamped in Smokey Slate for step 1 and step 2, not stamping off or anything. And the the third stamp is stamped in Basic Black. The two Smokey slate stamps add just the amount of depth and definition that the black just pulls it all together.

The bow was made with lots of varying size loops, then stuck together with some Tombow, using our new Night of Navy cord ribbon. It really is beautifully soft.

If you would like a copy of your very own Sale-a-Bration catalogue, please send me an email by clicking HERE, with your name and address, and I will get one in the post to you ASAP.

And even though I'm currently overseas, you can still shop on my online store, and each order will go into this months prize draw for the Colour Me Happy Stamp Set and Card kit. Just don't forget to add my December hostess code: XXXXXXX to be eligible.

Painted with Love - Mini Treat Boxes

Happy hump day people. This post is coming to you all the way from the gorgeous South East coast of England. Yep, the fambam and I got here safe and sound. It's bitterly cold and hubby is already complaining about how much he misses Australia but I'm so thankful to be here with my family and loved ones.

So, I bet you are wondering what I might be sharing today? Well even though we had a 7 day Display Stampers blog hop last week, I still in fact have lots of new projects to show you. Some where made for Onstage and others were created with my preorder. So I thought, over the month of Dec I will mix a little of the old (Christmas cards) with a little of the new (Preorder and Occasions Catalogue).

So kicking starting us off today I have a little treat box that I made using the NEW designer series paper Painted with Love:
Isn't it cute!!

The little clear mini treat boxes fit perfectly in their little case and just a few hearts from Heart Happiness and you have a gorgeous gift for a teacher or a colleague. The gold just finishes everything off with a little bit of elegance!!

That's it from me today. If you would love to see what I'm up to while in the UK, I'll be posting my adventures on my Facbook page and Instagram. Would love it if you could pop over and check it all out!!
