Fiji and Freebies

So I'm still in Fiji enjoying my fantastic family holiday. The weather has been beautiful and the people are amazing. We have had so much fun with kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, watching the fire walkers and taking part in a Kava Celebration.

I was having so much fun I almost forget to let you know about a special that I decided to run while I was away!!

The is currently a limited edition, 10th anniversary, only available in the South Pacific, pop-up scraps bin, that is available  to all Australian and New Zealan demos, while stocks last.

I have purchased 5 in total and I'm giving them away to the next 5 people who place a minimum $50 online order with me and uses my hostess code: UHUBKCAN.

Click on the Shop Now button on the righthand side of my page to head on over to my store!!

Well thats it from me today, the kids want to go snorkeling before dinner tonight.

TGIF Theme Challenge #78 - Candy Cane Lane

Wow, this week has been crazy and just to prove it, this post is going live to you from Fiji, which is where I'm on our first overseas family holiday. Yep that's right I'm in FIJI!!!

So I'm actually away until the day before I attend Onstage Live in Brisbane, and that means I've had to get everything organized weeks in advance. My swaps, Roomie gifts, something else very exciting but you'll have to wait and see what that is a in a few weeks, class prep and my design team cards, which is what brings us to todays post. It is my week to DT for the fantastic TGIF Blog:

Now when I saw the candy theme, I had this card idea pop into my head and I loved the concept. It wasn't until after I made it, I thought, ummm maybe I should have done Halloween!!

Anyway, here is my card:

I just love the paring of the framelit 'sweet" from the Cupcake dies and using it with those fantastic Gingerbread houses. The houses are actually cut out from the Candy Cane Lane designer series paper (which is included in our Buy 3 get 1 Free promo, but only until the end of the month). I just added a little glitter to the tops and popped them up with dimensionals.

Well I better get back to drinking my cocktails and watching the kids snorkel in the ocean. I am still contactable and of course you can always order online in my store, 24hrs 7 days a week. In fact I just placed a order this morning.

Make sure you check out the TGIF Blog and see what stunners the other guys have come up with!!

Happy Crafting and BULA!!

Simple and Stunning - Santa's Sleigh

So this year I am determined to get all my Christmas card made and sent off to my family friends overseas by the second week in November and even though I have got a few made, I'm still behind on the main bulk of cards. this is where today's creation has come in...

This card is very simple but so gorgeous. I think I could make a few of these in just a few hours and are a great way of using up all my Designer Series Paper that, up until now, I have been hoarding.

Since the Buy3, get 1 Free promotion has been on, I've definitely found it easier to cut into my DSP. Even the really pretty sheets!!

If you would like to purchase any of the product used on todays card, just clink on my Shop Button, or on the actual image below.

Happy Crafting,
Chlo

Just Add Ink Challenge Theme #333 - Sunshine Wishes

I'm so excited to announce that I am one of the new Guest Designers over at Just Add Ink!! This is really a dream come true, as I have loved this blog since they started a few years ago. The team are amazing and totally awe inspiring designers and I feel very honored to be among them for the next few months.

http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/2016/10/just-add-ink-333just-add-g.html
And my first challenge is so much fun. We have to create something with the Letter G and I instantly thought of Gold and lots of it.

Did I mention that I was using a lot of gold! This  card is actually going to a very dear friend who just received the most amazing news about something she has been working towards for the past two years. I wanted to send her a super special card to let her know how over the moon I was for her and excited about this new adventure.

To make the Congrats die cut, I coloured in some shimmery white cardstock with the gold Wink of Stella and then splattered some of it over the top. Once it had dried, I run it through the big shot. I then ran the die through again but on a piece of Early Espresso and then mounted the two together, leaving a little bit of an outline.

Please make sure you head on over to the JAI blog and take a look at what the other designers have been up to. You won't be disappointed!!

World Cardmaking Day Blog Hop

It has been a while since I last took part in a Blog Hop but when my friend Kylie Bertucci told me she was running one to celebrate World Cardmaking Day, I couldn't wait to put my name down!!

So thank you for join me from Kylie's blog, wasn't her creation stunning!! She's such a clever chicky!!

My card today is pretty simple but very eye catching. I love to make cards that take very little time yet still have that WOW factor that everyone loves. And of course I am using the Santa's Sleigh stamp set... again!!
I just loved the idea of using a my Versamark pad, some heat and stick powder and the Dazzling Diamond glitter. I literally just pushed the whole Versamark pad onto the middle of my Whisper White cardstock, so that I was left with a sticky Versarmark rectangle. I then covered it in Heat and Stick powder and used my heat gun to turn the powder into glue. I poured the Dazzling Diamond glitter all over the powder and heat the area once again. The powder sets and stops the glitter from falling off. Very clever stuff and perfect for adding glitter to anything.

I stamped the tree image from Santa's Sleigh in Always Artichoke on Always Artichoke cardstock. I popped it up with some form mount and added a little gold glimmer star on top.

Now it's time to get back to hopping along. Up next for you is Sandy Mott from the Scrap N Stamp Shop. She has a gorgeous project to share with you all!!

Happy WCMD,
Chlo
