Everything Easel...

I really can't stop making Easel cards at the moment. They are so simply to design and put together but give such a great WOW factor.

This one is actually my very first Easel card. A lovely lady, who I met at my monthly Mums and Bubs Market, emailed me and asked to make her a special Mothers Day card for her first mothers day ever!! I was so excited to be asked to make my first commissioned card... but had no idea what to make. Anyway I had been waiting to make the Easel design for a while so thought I would give it a go and here it is...

I'm sorry the photo isn't that great, but it was being picked up straight away so didn't get time to get anything better.

The main card stock is Early Espresso backed on to Crumb Cake and then stamped in Pear Pizzazz and the gorgeous little humming bird is Early Espresso again.

This is a side view for anyone reading this, who is asking "What's an Easel Card?" Splitcoaststampers have a great tutorial HERE.

Cute isn't it!!

I am almost ready to move on from Easel cards, but I do have one more left to show (I did say I am ALMOST ready lol). This one is an extra special card as it is giving you a sneak peek of  super new, super exciting and super special, one of a kind Stamp set, that I don't think even our American Cousins have ever seen. I googled the name of it the other day and an older stamp set came up so I can't wait to show you all.

I have to wait for 1st of June before I show you the whole set but... come back tomorrow and I'll give you a sneak peek of the card I made using it. I've gotta say I love this set and can't believe we only have a month to get our hands on it!!!

Anyway, off to take the kids and the dog for a walk along the beach, on this lovely, sunny Sunday. Hope you are all enjoy your day of rest and catch up with you soon,

Have Fun
Chlo
