Festive Friday #36

Woo Hoo it's Friday and did I hear someone say FESTIVE FRIDAY!!!

Yep, my first week of being on time for a change!!! So today's challenge was different. It had me thinking outside of the box. Well I say me... my dear Friend and Stamping Sister Jeanette gave me the idea.

Today's challenge was a photo Inspiration of a Christmas table setting. O M G!! All it made me think was how hungry I am lol

Anyway, after much thinking and discussing, I showed it my SS and the first thing she said was, "How about place names"..... GENIUS!!!

So I used the colours on the table and also the table it's self for inspiration. But I also felt drawn to the markings on the goblets. So using the big flower stamp out of the Betsy Blossom set, I stamped on the cardstock and then punched out the ornament shape. I actually punched it three times, as I wanted to stick them together to make a 3D element. I think the new Ornament stamps and Framelit bundles had my little brain ticking over.

Oh and I also used the NEW silver and gold Dazzle markers (found in the Holiday Catty). They are so much nicer then the old "shaker" ones. They write great and feel just like a maker.

Well at least me and Hubby know where to sit this Christmas!!

If you are feeling inspired by the photo, why don't you join in all the fun and head on over to the Festive Friday Challenge Blog and show us what you made.

Have Fun,
Chlo

  1. Chloe these look great. I love the way the ornaments look with the Betsy's Blossom stamping, I always enjoy seeing our products used together in a non-typical way.
