Thinking of You - Painted Poppies

I'm seriously loving the Painted Poppies stamp set and today I got to use some of those beautiful coordinating sequins on my card too.

This card matches my card from Monday (you can see that one HERE) plus the card I created for the Stamping Sisters tutorial bundle, where I've used the Triple Time Stamping technique.

This card is very quick and clean with some very simply stamping. A great card for anyone to make whether you're a beginner stamper or more advanced but need to make a few cards in a hurry.

The background has been created by stamping a few of the flower and leaf images in Sahara sand on whisper white cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment straight on top with Tuxedo Black. If you are a little nervous about direct stamping, you can always use your Stamparatus for that. It's the perfect tool and you will get a great image every time!

How cute are those sequins?!? Did you realize they come in little flower shaped sequins as well as the flat kind. Just so darling.

I hope you are all finding some craft time, while in isolation. It's certainly great for your mental health and it's awesome if you send the cards you make too!!

Happy Crafting,
Chlo

The Little Things - Painted Poppies

I really enjoyed creating my card for this months Stamping Sisters tutorial bundle, and while I had the Painted Poppies stamp set out on my desk, I thought I would create a few more cards, especial with ANZAC day only a few days away.

This card was using up a few left over stamped images, that hadn't quite gone to plan. I love it when you can create something beautiful with scraps or left overs.

The Scripty embossed background is so beautiful. I love using this embossing folder on Whisper White, but it's just as stunning on Basic Black too.

I had stamped and coloured a whole heap of poppies and the matching leaves and these where a few that had been left over. They went perfectly as a little accent on my stamped circle and of course you can't help but add a little gold glimmer when using red and black. It just has to be added!

Thank you for popping in today and hope to see you again soon,

Happy Crafting,
Chlo
