Gosh, it's certainly been a long time between cards on the blog recently. Crafters block can really happen to any of us and unfortunately it was my time to feel uninspired. And I think that's why I'm so glad I was made to create for this months Stamping Sisters tutorial bundle. Rainbows make everything seem better!!

So, let me share my tutorial inspired blog hop card with you all. I couldn't pass up trying out the new skinny card trend and a rainbow of hearts just seemed to be the perfect pairing.

My tutorial card is similar and I of course will tell you exactly how to create a Skinny card, using Australian sized cardstock. I can totally see why so many people have jumped on the Skinny Card bandwagon as I really loved making these too.

Stamping Sisters Tutorial - August Blog Hop

Happy 1st of the month guys and welcome to another fun blog hop with the Stamping Sisters tutorial group. This month we are show casing cards along the theme of Thinking of you and Friendship, as this weekend just happens to be National Sisters day and I like to think of all my crafty friends as my stamping sisters!!
So if you've come straight here, Welcome and if you arrived from the amazing Di Barnes then G'day it's nice to have you!

My card this month is actually teaching a technique that I have never seen before and fell upon it by accident, which shows you are never too old to learn something new. This technique will show you how to dry emboss with your stencils. Yep, you heard me right. I have a whole new way to use those stencils that you have lurking in the back of your craft room.

On my blog hop card that I'm sharing today, shows this technique paired with a shaker card. As soon as I saw these cute little coffee beans in the Perks stamp set, I knew they would be perfect, plus a little bit of fussy cutting never hurt anyone!

So I can hear you all saying " Chlo we need to know how to do that awesome technique. How do we get our hands on your amazing tutorial bundle?" Well I have three fantastic options:

Option 1 - It's yours for FREE. Yep that's right. If you place a qualifying order of $60* or more through my online store, that months bundle will be sent to you, absolutely free. It's my way of saying Thank You and I really appreciate your on going support. LET'S GO SHOPPING!

Stamping Sisters Tutorial: July Blog Hop

It's time for another Stamping Sisters Tutorial and this month we have decided to get a bit crazy and shake things up a little.

Our cards are just too awesome to make just one so we've each made two using our very own tutorials and have decided to share one of the cards as part of a blog hop. This means you still get an exclusive card and tutorial when you purchase are Stamping Sisters Bundle, but now you always get to see another idea on how to use that tutorial. So really your getting 10 card ideas, how super cool it that!

Our theme for this month is Celebrations/Birthdays and the girls have, as usual, done a fantastic job.
So it doesn't matter whether you have started here with me (Hi, Hello, How are you?) or you hopped your way here from the amazingly talented Di Barnes just follow the hop until your get right back where you started. So grab a cuppa, sit back and let us inspire you!!

My tutorial this month showcases a fantastic technique called emboss resist and I just love how many different ways and styles this technique can be used.

On my blog hop card, I have played with the new Whale of a Time suite, which is one of my favorites from the new Annual catalogue and as you can see I used the Emboss Resist Technique as a strip on one side.

So I can hear you all saying " Chlo we need to know how to do that awesome technique. How do we get our hands on your amazing tutorial bundle?" Well I'm glad you asked:

Option 1 - It's yours for FREE. Yep that's right. If you place a qualifying order of $60* or more through my online store, that months bundle will be sent to you, absolutely free. It's my way of saying Thank You and I really appreciate your on going support. LET'S GO SHOPPING!

Thinking of You - Painted Poppies

I'm seriously loving the Painted Poppies stamp set and today I got to use some of those beautiful coordinating sequins on my card too.

This card matches my card from Monday (you can see that one HERE) plus the card I created for the Stamping Sisters tutorial bundle, where I've used the Triple Time Stamping technique.

This card is very quick and clean with some very simply stamping. A great card for anyone to make whether you're a beginner stamper or more advanced but need to make a few cards in a hurry.

The background has been created by stamping a few of the flower and leaf images in Sahara sand on whisper white cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment straight on top with Tuxedo Black. If you are a little nervous about direct stamping, you can always use your Stamparatus for that. It's the perfect tool and you will get a great image every time!

How cute are those sequins?!? Did you realize they come in little flower shaped sequins as well as the flat kind. Just so darling.

I hope you are all finding some craft time, while in isolation. It's certainly great for your mental health and it's awesome if you send the cards you make too!!

Happy Crafting,
Chlo
