Wow what an exciting, fun filled day we have had so far. My little blog has certainly been bust today, what with my Birthday Week announcement this morning and now with my card for the Can you Case it Challenge.
This week, the guys and I have a sketch challenge for you all, and you all know I love a good sketch. It really seems to get the creative juices flowing:
I changed my main shape up a little, as I had actually let one of my good friends borrow my oval framelits:
Oh my goodness, I will really miss the Pedal Pushers stamp set when Sale-a-Bration ends in just few days.
I love the technique of making my own background paper by stamping an image, this time the bicycle, in Versamark. It's so simple but really very effective.
The idea of using the basket and flowers as my focal image was something I had seen Julie Davison do a little while ago. I just loved the idea of using just that image and couldn't help CASEing it from her, so Thank You Julie for always being so inspiring!!
I used our little Banner punch to punch out some glimmer paper banners just to tie everything together and of course a card wouldn't be finished without some metallic thread!
Please make sure you pop over and check out the gorgeous creations that Design Team have come with and remember we do love a little comment loving!!
Happy Crafting,
Chlo
