Team Meeting and new catty sneak peek - Mixed Borders

The girls and I got together for our Monthly Team hangout and after a good catch up and sharing all the fun and news from Onstage, we had time to do a quick card.

Now usually I have something pre-cut and ready to go, but I was running late and so I suddenly remembered the beautifully card that I had seen Carolina Evans demo at Onstage. It was using one of the new stamp sets called Mixed Borders and luckily we had been given it while we were there.

My card is almost a direct CASE, apart from a few little changes that we made as we put it together. It was so much fun to literally create a card on the hop and I'm sure the girls enjoyed seeing me run around looking for bits of cardstock, ribbon or anything else I could come up with!

Well that's it for today. I spent the rest of the day sorting through my retired stamps and can't believe how many are going and how few I'm left with. I've actually been making a few cards that show case some of my favorite retired items and I hope to share them with you all this week. So make sure you pop back again soon!!
