So I shared with you all, my Halloween treats for my eldest and now it's time to show you the little goodies I made for my two youngest who, being 1 and 2, had to be baby friendly and contain no nuts or eggs.
So i popped to my local Coles, and found this huge bag of jelly bears for under $5.00, which made about 30 of these little cuties. Of course not including all the ones I might have eaten on the way... It seems I'm partial to the white ones!!!
I would have loved to have added wobbly eyes to all of them, but was worried they might be a choking hazard, so only added them to my left overs, which I'll actually give away on Halloween to any trickle treaters that might come by.
In fact they were so easy to make, that you could easierly adapt them for birthdays, baby showers or even as wedding favours. I might whip up a few more to sell at my upcoming Christmas Market. I could see the cute little penguins from Polar Party being the ideal size... Just need to get some more bears lol.
Have Fun,
Chlo

Spring Cleaning...
So you may have noticed it's a little different around here. I have been spring cleaning my stamp room (photos to follow) and thought I should freshen up my blog too. Do you like it?!?
I have been told that yellow and grey are this years hot colours, oh and it also matches the US Stampin Up convention bags... so it must be true lol.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Dynamic Duo - honourable mention
I've been so busy with getting all my Christmas goodies organised for my upcoming market stall, that I haven't had much time to blog, but while surfing my usual haunts I noticed my card was Honorable Mention over on Dynamic Duo's, the other week!!
This is the card I entered just in case you missed it.
It's actually one of my cards that i have lined up for my Christmas Card Class. The photo really doesn't do it much justice.
Anyway, big thank you to the girls and I hope to join in with their next challenge soon!!
Have Fun,

Trickle treat, smelly feet...
... Give me something sweet to eat!!
I just loved that song when I was little... Or not so little lol! I'm a huge fan of Halloween. I love the dressing up, the parties, all the decoration and of course the lollies.
But it's not such a big deal here in Australia and sometimes I miss all the fun, especially as my children are still too little to go trickle treating.
So this year I thought I would make some cute Halloween treats for the kids to take to preschool and share with all of their little friends.
Super cute aren't they!!! I've made 11 so far and have another 10 to go. It a lot of work for what I'm guessing will only last five seconds when the five year olds get them. But my daughter is so excited about giving them out, it's worth the effort.
Next, I'm making something a little different for my sons class... They are two, so will need to be more robust with no googlie eyes. Something with jelly bears I think... My favourites!
Have fun,
Chlo

September Thank you Cards
I was just making my Customer Thank you cards October when I realised you hadn't seen my September ones.
I saw this gorgeous card while spending hours on Pinterest... come on, we all know that we could waste an entire day on that wondrous site lol, and knew I had to case straight away. The original is from the super talented LeAnne Greff from Flowerbug's Inkspot. LeAnne made her's using the new Butterfly Punch, but alas, that is still on my wishlist (along with a lot of other stuff!!) So I used the Beautiful Butterflies Embosslit.
These are two of the different colours I made, but I also did some in Poppy Parade and Blushing Bride... using spare cardstock up :-)
It's such a a beautiful, crisp design and takes next to no time to make, but is just striking to look at. In fact I've noticed the design being CASED by a lot of card markers, so it must be pretty special!!
Ok, off to finish my October cards. I'll hopefully get them up for you this week :-)
Have Fun,
Chlo

Dynamic Duo's #22
So it's been while since I took part in the Dynamic Duos Challenge. It's one of my all time fave blog challenges. The only reason why I haven't taken part lately is that I'm always late getting my entry in. No surprise there lol.
Anyway... this weeks challenge is Mix and Match week. This is where the DT choose one of the colours and then we get to choose the other. Oh and Neutrals are allowed.
So my card was inspired by Beth Beards card on her blog, My Little Craft Blog. You will also see this gorgeous card cased again in my October Thank you cards.
Anyway, I kept the layout the same, but changed up the colour and theme. I really think Cherry Cobbler will be my Christmas colour this year. I've used it so much already. I think it's the matching Bakers Twine that sells it too me.
I adore the Champagne Glimmer paper, especially with Cherry Cobbler. Oh and I recently learnt how to make a double bow too. Thanks again to the beautiful Beth Beard. Here is a link to her tutorial. She makes it so easy to understand!
Oh and don't forget to pop back tomorrow and find out about Stampin' Ups newest promotion... It's Awesome!!
Have fun,
Chlo

Festive Friday #38
I'm late again with uploading my Festive Friday Challenge... I have no idea where the time goes lol.
Ok so this weeks challenge was a very simple sketch challenge. Well I say simple, but that in it's self is a challenge for me. I'm all about layers and and extra trim and bling.
Here is the Sketch for the week:
Simple isn't it. Well I confess I couldn't just add a small sentiment AND I really wanted to use the Ornament Keepsake stamps AND I had the new (and so very scrummy) Sugar and Spice Embossing Powder... Ok enough excuses lol.
So I did add a little Trim and Bling, but I think I stuck to the sketch pretty closely. Oh and the embossing powder smells like Christmas in a bottle, all cinnamon and spicy. And two weeks later and it still smells just as strong.
So why don't you pop on over, have a peek at what the other talented girls have come up with and take up the challenge. It's such a great fun way to kick start those Christmas cards, because you know it's 12 weeks today until Christmas Eve!!
Have Fun,
Chlo
