One of the best parts of being a Demo with Stampin' Up! (and there are LOTS of best parts) is being able to order from our new catalogues early. Demo's at the moment, all over the world are currently able to order from the NEW Occasions Catty, plus earn Sale-a-Bration goodies!! Woo Hoo.
So I'm actually still waiting on my HUGE preorder box of new goodies from the Occasions Catty but I did get a small deliver of goodies last week and in it was one of the Sale-a-Bration freebies that I had earned, called Lotus Blossom.
O.M.G it is a beautiful 3 step stamping set, yep you heard me, 3 STEP stamping. I spent ages playing around with different colour combos, and let me tell you there are heaps of them. So after much stamping I finally put a few of the flowers together and made a card.
I have to admit, I;m totally in love with this card. Every time I look at it, I just think it's simply beautiful. So easy to make too. Oh and did I mention the Lotus Blossom stamp set is out of the Sale-a-Bration catty which means it's actually free with a qualifying order... Gotta love that!!
The little sentiment is from another stamp set out of the Occasions Catalogue called Painted Petals. All the other stamps in that set are beautiful, but I couldn't go past the sentiment, it's so cute.
If you would like a copy of the new Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogue and don't already have a demonstrator send me an email and I'll be more then happy to pop one in the post to you. Australia residents only I'm afraid.
Have Fun,
Chlo

Port Craft Expo - Christmas Market
So the Port Craft Expo has finally been and gone and it was fantastic. The girls and I worked pretty much day and night on the lead up to the weekend long market and it was worth every hour of lost sleep.
I chatted and met with so many lovely people, sold lots of our gorgeous creations and hopefully met plenty of new cutomers.
I thought I would share some of the photos I took on the day of our beautiful stall and the goodies we made:
So if you popped down and visited us over the weekend, Thank You!! It was lovely to meet you and I hope we catch up with you again at a Class or a Party soon!!
Have Fun,

Something special for Mum - White Christmas Shutter Card
It's getting to that time of year when we all start thinking about making and sending out our Christmas cards, but if you are like me and have all your family overseas, then we have to get organised a little bit earlier to beat the Christmas rush.
Now my Mum loves all my cards that I make. She's a huge follower of my Facebook page and always likes, leaves a comment and even shares my cards to her friends. When she comes to visit, she loves to come and make some cards with me, so that she has a stock of handmade cards to give to her friends too.
Here's a photo of us taken when I visited her in India this year!!
Now my only problem is every year I have to make her a special, one of a kind, card that I know she will keep... no treasure, for the rest of the year. It also has to be something she hasn't seen before.
So today, I'm sharing her card and because she don't visit here often (thankfully) the secret is safe with all of you!
I have seen these Shutter Cards popping up all over the internet at the moment and I love to jump on board a bandwagon lol!!! They are so very simply to make and so effective. I cut out the little "Merry Christmas" banner and hung it up between two of the shutters to give it a little 3d effect. It still closes and fits into a normal size envelop, because it slides in between the panels.
Now I'm counting on you all to keep this little card a secret, just in case you run into my Mum. She's such a jet setter who knows where you might find her!

Do yo think she'll like it!! She, like me, lives in a hot country during Christmas and we both miss the cold, dark, snowy English Christmases. The main reason why I brought the White Christmas stamp set was because it reminded me of my childhood Christmas, so of course I had to use it on my Mum's card.

Mojo Monday 366 Contest
Today's card is inspired from the Mojo Monday Challenge and it also happens to be one of my Christmas class cards too. Nothing like two birds with one stone!
So lets take a look at the sketch:
Now I think my proportions are off just a little, because I decided I wanted to use the Partridge and Pear stamp set and that pear tree takes up a lot of space!!
I love the All is Calm DSP and I wanted to keep my colouring in the pear tree to reflect those cooler colours. Last time I used my new blendabilities to colour in with, where this time I used my Markers. I have to say I love both and I think it's because this set just colours so well. It's very therapeutic too.
I hope I've inspired you to drop over to Mojo Monday and give the sketch a try. It really gets the juices flowing!!
Have fun,
Chlo

Happy I do day
Morning guys, I hope you all had an amazing long weekend. I know we did. Our gorgeous friends, who have moved to Western Australia for the next two years, had come back for a visit and of course we all had to get together for a catch up. It was honestly sooo much fun!! I will miss that little family when they go back next week.
So today I thought I would share a wedding card that I was asked to make for my friend Amy. She is one of my besties and a fellow cardmaker. A friend of hers was getting married but because of her super busy schedule, she said she was going to have to buy a card!?!?!? I of course then offered to make one.... I'm now wondering if the whole conversation was a ruse lol.
Have Fun,
Chlo

Stamps: Something to say, And many more and Hardwood
Ink: Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Strawberry Slush, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso

The inspiration for this card came from Pinterest (of course) by fellow Stampin' Up Demo, Inge Groot over at Stampin' Cards and Memories.
I really couldn't help but make the card girly and lovey dovey. Lets face it, wedding are for the girls more then the guys anyway. Can you tell how much I'm loving our new in-colour sequins?!? They are just the perfect little extra to add to any card and they fit perfectly onto one of our glue dots, which is awesome.
Well that's it for me today. My oldest is back to school tomorrow and I need to get the household out of Holiday mood and into School mode, but the best part is we are on the downward run to the summer holidays and Christmas... Woo Hoo!!!

Freshly Made Sketches #156
Good Morning Sunday, and what a beautiful day it is too. The family and I are just getting a picnic organised as we are off to the beach for the day. Now I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of sand, but the kids love it and the beaches where we live are beautiful and pretty hard to resist.
Anyway before we go, I wanted to share a quick card that I made for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
When I saw the sketch, I knew straight away which stamp set I wanted to use. Oh and it's on sale at this very moment, but only until tomorrow, 6th October.
So here is the sketch:
Nice and easy isn't it. So i took the sketch exactly as, except I made it into a square card as my circle was too big for a rectangle card.

Pretty cute isn't it. The gorgeous big "it's your birthday" stamp is from the set called Big News and that's the set that is currently 20% off, along with 4 others stamps, until 6th October, in honor of World Cardmaking Day. I used my Subtle markers to colour in each of the letters to get the rainbow effect. I totally love my markers, they are honestly one of my best tools.
The little hearts and the "Seize the Cake" stamp are from another awesome stamp set called Something to Say which has a lot of gorgeous little sentiments.
Well that's it for me today. Remember you can see all the stamps by clicking on their names or visiting My Store. I hope you all enjoy your Sunday, no matter what you have planned.

Somewhere over the Rainbow
Yeah it's finally Saturday and even though its a super busy day for our household, I still love that weekend feeling and this weekend is even better because it's a long weekend... Woo Hoo!!
So to celebrate I decided to whip up a bright and cheerful rainbow, Saturday Night fever inspired card. Honestly it looks like this card stepped right off a dance floor.
I absolutely love the background on this card and it's really easy to do. I've used some watercolour paper and a wet paintbrush. I squeezed the ink pads, when they were closed, to transfer some of the ink onto the inside of the lids and picked up the ink with the paintbrush.
Have a great long weekend everyone,

See what I mean! It's totally, 70's disco lol. I have used lots of new goodies on this card, which I'm ashamed to say, have been sitting on my desk for a few weeks. I think I got a little bit carried away with all the new catalogues and ordered so much that I'm still getting around to using it all... first world problems I guess!

OK, I do have a very small, teeny, tiny confession... I used the sketches as my inspiration for my Monthly Card Classes. I had decided to give myself the challenge of not going to Pinterest for my cards this month and so I decided to check out this weeks challenges and well the rest is history!!
Anyway, lets see the sketch from the Paper Players this week:

Cute Gift Tags for cute gifts
I really love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for so many reasons. We have so many perks, awards and recognitions that it makes it so easy to stay "active". But the one thing I love the most, is the friends you make and being part of such a wonderful family. And that's really what it feels like, whether it's within your Uplines team or at Stampin' Up! Conventions or with your own Downline. There are also a few FB pages that are demo only, where we all share hints, tips, advice and of course things we make.
Today's inspiration came from a fellow Aussie demo who I met through one of these FB pages. Bonnie Gillett , who is a super talented demo, shared these amazing gift tags that she had made using our new Little Letter Thinlit dies. As soon as I saw them I knew they would be perfect for Christmas and I had to make some for my upcoming Christmas Craft Market.
Gorgeous right!! They will look beautiful on a present under the Christmas tree I think. I used Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke for the plain cardstock and then I did one in the Gold foil (which is on the Weekly Deals list this week) and the other in Red Glimmer. The Little Letters cut through all the different cardstocks with no problems at all. Oh and lining them up and keeping them straight was easy peasy with the Magnetic Platform.
Of course, you know me, once I had made them in the "Traditional" colours I had to try them in what I call "Snow" colours:

Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue Count Down - Day 4
OMG can you believe we now only have 4 day to go until you guys can finally order from the new Holiday catty. Honestly it's chock full of beautiful goodies and I just can't wait for you all to be able to get your hands on it!!
Ok, today's card is a remake on the shaker card that I shared with you all back on Day 7. This card is made in exactly the same way, but I changed up the colours and the stamp set.
How gorgeous is that star from Bright and Beautiful stamp set. The whole set is so gorgeous and... well... Bright and Beautiful!! It's hard to see in the photo, but after stamping the star in Cherry Cobbler, I then used my stamp-a-ma-jig to re-stamp straight over the top in Versamark, which I then heat embossed with Iridescent Ice. It's super sparkly.
To fill the shaker, I pulled some of the gold sequins off the Sequin trim and also punched out some red glimmer paper with a hole punch. Oh and nothing goes to waste in my room, I used the gold tread which I had pulled the sequins off, to tie my three little sentiment tags together.
Ingredients
Stamps: Bright and Beautiful
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Gold Encore and Versamark
Cardstock: Gold Foil, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White
DSP: Season of Style Stack (Clearance Rack)
Other: Gold Trim ribbon, Gold Sequins, Red Glimmer, Shaker Frames, Iridescent Ice, Circle Framelits and Window Sheets

Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue Count Down - Day 5
Afternoon guys, I hope your weekend is a little warmer and drier then mine. After a few hours in the pool (my day job as a swim teacher) and with all the rain we've had today so far, I'm feeling a little bit soggy, thats for sure.
Anyway, lets get on with todays card! Today I'm sharing a card using the gorgeous Endless Wishes stamp set.
Now this was originally a one off photopolymer stamp set that Stampin' Up! offered over in America last year. Well is went sooo well, that it sold out within a few weeks. Some of the sets were even seen being sold second hand online for about $90 !!!!
It really is a cute set and I love it teamed with the All is Calm DSP and the cute little snowflake sequins.
I also used my Coastal Cabana Blendabilities to colour in the rhinestones to match the Coastal Cabana ink used for some of the snowflakes.
If you would like to get your very own hard copy of the Holiday catalogue, then please drop me an email and I'll get one out to you ASAP!!
Stay dry and have a wonderful Saturday,
Chlo

Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue Count Down - Day 6
Yeah, we are one step closer to Holiday Catalogue Day!! I've decided it should so be a public holiday, so we can have a full day to drool over all the yummy goodness lol
Anyway, today's card was one that I made while taking the kids to a local indoor play centre. I was being a good mummy and letting the kidlits have a fun morning running around, while I took a little bag of supplies and got me colouring on. Now if you are one of my Instagram followers or a "Liker" on Facebook then, you would have seen the card that I finished and gave to the waitress as a Thank You. Oh and if your not a Liker or follower, then jump on board as you are missing out big time!!
So, today's card is using the new Christmas stamp called 'Partridge and Pear' and a lot of colouring with the Blendabilities - Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight.
Gosh this set is super cute. It has this gorgeous Pear Tree image but also a sentiment for the outside and inside of the card!! I love sets that complete a card, but I actually didn't use those sentiments on this one. They were a little big so I grabbed the sentiment from 'White Christmas' instead and it fits perfectly.
I also teamed up the Gold Foil cardstock with the very glittery red Glimmer paper. This card is really gorgeous in real life, very shimmery!!
See you tomorrow for more sneaks.
Have Fun,
Chlo

Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue Count Down - Day 7
Wow, can you believe we have a world Stampin' Up! first happening next Thursday (28th Aug)!! The new Holiday Catalogue is available to you to order from, at the same time as the rest of the world!!!
That's right, everyone gets to order from the catty at the same time... well actually us Aussies and New Zealanders actually get to order first due to our time zones... hee hee just a little sneaky right!
So to warm you up to this A.M.A.Z.I.N.G new catalogue, I will be showing you some Sneak Peeks every day this week as a kind of count down to the BIG day.
Todays little beauty is a CASE card from a gorgeous Demo called Louise Sharp. After seeing Louise's card, this card idea instantly popped into my head, oh and it uses lots of goodies from the "All is Calm" range, as well as one of our awesome new, photopolymer, stamp sets "White Christmas"
So much new stuff being used here!! I really just couldn't pace myself. The DSP is called "All is Calm" and the colours are really gorgeous. The snowflakes/sequins are stunning and perfect for my snowy scene. And the ribbon is in one of our new in-colours, Lost Lagoon. It's really lovely to use and perfect for tying bows.
You can see the stamp set "White Christmas" a little better in this photo. The set is soooo cute and I can't wait to show you some of the other stamps in it. It's also a photo polymer set, so being able to see straight through the stamp, took the guess work out of lining up the "Merry Christmas" banner.
Pop back tomorrow, to see another creation from this amazing Holiday Catalogue and if you would like to get your own hard copy of the Holiday Catalogue and you don't already have a Stampin' Up Demo, then pm me today !! (Australia only I'm afraid)
Have Fun,
Chlo

Blended Blossom and Blendabilities
So since getting back from the Stampin' Up South Pacific Convention, or Inspire, Create, Share as it's now called, I have been brimming with new ideas, inspiration and so much craftyness there just hasn't been enough hours in the day!!
One of the freebies we brought back with us (and we brought back heaps of goodies!!) was a new stamp set called Blended Blossom and we were given a pack of the new blendabilites to use with it. The colour we got was Calypso Coral.
Ok so I'm going to state right here that colouring just isn't my thing. Honestly, even as a child I was a terrible colouring in'er... umm not sure if it's a word but lets go with it.
My first go with our new Blendabilities and I couldn't believe how easy it was to make the flower look 3D. I used the darker shade pen on all the parts of the flower that I thought would be dark or in the shade in real life. Then I edged some of those areas with the middle tone and finally "blended" everything with the lightest shade. So here it is:

Not bad for a first time. Now as much as I enjoyed colouring this flower, I'm still not convinced that this will be my "thing", BUT, and that's a big but. With our Blendabilities you can colour pretty much anything. Pearls, Rhinestones, Washi Tape, ribbon honestly the list goes on. Thats how I got my matching rhinestones on my card.
Now I guess you are wondering when YOU can get your hands on these little babies. Well at the moment we are hoping they will be ready for when the new Annual Catalogue goes live on 1st July, but it's a case of wait and see for the moment. Fingers crossed everything is ready in time.
Hope you get some craft on this long weekend, I know I plan too ;-)

Stampin' Up! Occasional Catty ESAD Blog Hop - Card in a Box
Morning, morning, morning!! It's raining and blowing a gale here in Northern NSW, but don't worry it's a perfect day for a blog hop.... Yippee.
Today me and the ESAD girls are hopping our way through the new Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue. The catty itself is gorgeous so I know you'll be blown away by all the beautiful creations the girls have come up with.
Whether you have just arrived after viewing Liv's awesome creations or come to me as a frequent visitor, Hi, Hello and Welcome!!
OK, today I'm sharing another card in a box (I know, I know. Honestly it's an addiction) that I made for Mr 4's birthday, using the new Retro Fresh papers, the Just Sayin' stamps with the matching Word Bubble framelits. I have also changed the measurement of this CIAB to make it a little wider in the front and thinner on the sides, just to mix it up a little lol.
Here's a close up of all the "filling":
Mr 4 LOVED it!! He said it's the best birthday card ever!!! How can you top that for praise.
Now for those of you who don't know what ESAD means, here's a little explanation:

Card in a Box - Baby Card
Morning everyone, today I have got a beauty of a card to share with you all. I'm not sure if you have seen the recent trend of Cards in a Box that seem to be all over Pinterest at the moment. Well I had to make a very special card for my friend who's just had a gorgeous baby girl. So I decided this would be perfect.
There are lots of tutorials for this type of card, but a lot of the American ones are too big for our standard Aussie size envelop. I found this awesome tutorial from fellow Australian Demo, Tanya Bell. Her Card in a Box is absolutely beautiful and well worth popping over to take a look.
I really must point out a few SAB Sneak Peeks that I've used on this card. Firstly I have to point out that this beautiful paper is the SAB DSP called Sweet Sorbet. It's just such gorgeous paper and I can't seem to stop using it. The second sneak peek, is the little "Baby" banner I used. I have used the Banner Blast outline stamp (1 of 6 super cute little banner stamps) and the coordinating banner punch to cut it out with. The word "Baby" I got from another stamp set and I just lined them both up using my Stamp-a-ma-jig.
Well that's it for today. Only 2 more days until SAB starts and I'm so excited. I do still have a few dates available if you would like to book a workshop with me. Also if you would like a copy of the SAB catty or any of our catalogues pleased don't hesitate to contact me, if you don't already have a local demo.
Have Fun,
Chlo
Ingredients
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Itty Bitty Banner, Papillon Potpourri, Banner Blast and Tiny Tags (R)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party and Sahara Sand
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Sahara Sand and Pool Party
DSP: Sweet Sorbet
Other: Banner Punch, Boho Blossom, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Small Heart Punch Little Leaves die, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Silver Glimmer, Hearts a Flutter Framelits and Rhinestones.
It's such a gorgeous card and can be decorated in so many different way too. Oh and did I mention it's really easy to make. Honestly it is!! The hardest part is trying to decide how to decorate it and what to use. My craft room currently looks like a hoard of two year olds got in there.
It also folds flat and fits in a normal size envelop. Just have to remember not to stick anything too far over the sides, otherwise they stick out too much.
