The cards that the Design Team had made were so inspirational and my card came together very easily:
The specification for the card was, 50, not frilly, no flowers and likes greens. I'm pretty sure I nailed it. I had all the elements in my head, but was struggling with how to anchor it all and then I decided to put the numbers on to the butterfly.
I used an aqua painter to make my Mint Macaroon/Bermuda Bay wash for the background and finished it with some Coastal Cabana sequins. Did you know, these gorgeous 2013/2015 incolour sequins are still available on our Clearance Rack?? You really should pop over and check it out as there are some real bargains to be found there.
Well that's it for me today. Please pop over and check out the talent at the Global Design Project. Those guys and gals are amazing!!
Happy Crafting,
Chlo

ReplyDeleteOoh, this is one fantastic 50th birthday card. I love that glittery number (it's like Broadway lights) and the butterfly and gold thread are fantastic!
