Happy Valentines Day - Heartfelt

Happy V' Day guys and gals. Hubby and I aren't really a big follower of Valentines Day. Well hubby isn't lol. He seems to think our Wedding Anniversary is our own personal Valentines Day which would be fine with me if he remembered that one too!!

Anyway, I love any occasion where I get to make a card and as I haven't used the awesome Heartfelt Bundle for a while... probably last Valentines Day now I come to think of it, I thought today was a good day to get all Lovey Dovey.

Now this card is CASE from the amazing Wendy Cranford, who creates some of the most amazing cards. I've been a big fan of hers for ages plus I had a bit of a fan girl moment when she sat next to us at a Mexican restaurant when I went to Orlando a few years ago. I seriously was so star struck I couldn't go up and talk to her... I regret is now, but who knows maybe I'll get another chance some day.

Anyway, Wendy had created this card last year (you can see that gorgeous creation HERE) and I knew it would be perfect for my hubby. I changed the colours up and added in a touch of gold foil plus some of those super cute Resin Heart embellishments from the Snail Mail suite.

I paired this beautiful card with a box of Malteasers for Hubby. He was obviously surprised I had bothered and probably felt a little guilty too, which any wife knows isn't always a bad thing lol.

I hope you guys are all sharing a little love in your life today, even if it's a little bit of Self Love, something we all need more of in our lives.

Happy Valentine's Day - Heartfelt Stamp Set

The day of love has arrived. And even though hubby is all bah humbug about it, I love watching the flowers being delivered at work or seeing post from my friends on Facebook with giant cuddly bears or bright red boxes of chocolates. I always think the world can't have too much love in it, even if someone is making money out of it all. I'm guessing it's not as much as an Arms Dealer any way!!!

And that brings me to my card today, which I created for a special friend who's hubby passed away, some years ago on Valentines Day. I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her today and that love never truly dies.

I really couldn't by pass the gorgeous papers in the From my Heart Suite. The papers are so pretty and girlie and I can totally see using them long after Valentines Day. The foil on each sheet is gorgeous and just feels so beautiful. Paired with some punched out hearts and those stunning faced gems and you have a winning combo.

I absolutely love the heart punch pair. The scalloped heart is so super pretty and the fact the normal heart is just 1/8" smaller, means it nests perfectly inside. These punches are a must for anyone.

So whatever kind of relationship you are in, I hope you have a lovely Valentines Day and if you don't have a special someone in your life remember you are special to you so go out and treat yourself xxx

Valentines for Friends - Heartfelt Stamp Set

Love is certainly in the air this week with Valentines Day just around the corner. Now, being a married women of 18 years, my hubby always uses the excuse that Valentines Day is just a waste of time and it's a money making exercise ect ect. And from what I understand, my friends hubbies say the same thing, which is why I love this stamp set so much. The sentiment I have used on this card means I can send this card out to a few girl friends of mine, as I feel we all need a little love in our lives, even us married women!!

Can we also take a moment to talk about how beautiful this designer series paper is!! It's stunning and each piece has a gorgeous foiled detail on one side. I'm absolutely in love with it.

I've also used some of the multi faceted gems that are part of the suite. They are simply beautiful and I think I might need to grab a few more packets to hoard for later in life.

So if your hubby or partner isn't a fan of V' Day, why not make a few lovely cards and send them to your friends. I'm pretty sure they will love the thought!!
