Happy New Year 2020 - Golden Honey DSP

Happy last day of 2019 people!! How amazing that tomorrow will be new decade. This is actually the start of my 5th decade and I'm not even 40 yet, how cool is that.

And to kick off the new year, I decided to send my team a Happy New Years card, which you can see below. Now before I show it to you I wanted to tell you a little secret. This card is the only one I sent and it went to all of my team members. Yep, I sent one card to everyone on my team. Confused? Well I sent the card to one person in my team and I wrote my goal for this year inside it. Now, when that team member receives it, they will write their goal for 2020, in the same card and send it on to yet another teamie. Eventually once everyone has received the card, it will arrive back to me with everyone's goals and dreams all listed inside of it. Isn't that a cool idea!!

I kept the card fairly simple as i wanted the sentiment to really be the star of the card. Plus as it needs to go through the postal system quiet a few times, it has to hold up to all of that handling too.

I really love the sentiment and it comes from one of my favourite stamps, Strong and Beautiful, which can be found in our Annual Catalogue. This set has so many beautiful sentiments and I thought this one was perfect for this card.

Well, I had better get this card in the mail and send it on it's merry adventure. I hope you have a wonderful 2020 and that there is lots of crafting in your future!!

Brightly Gleaming - Snow Globe Scenes

Have you seen the beautiful Brightly Gleaming designer Series paper as yet? It has sold out twice since it was very released in September and I hear that inventory if low yet again. And let me tell you, there is a reason why this paper is selling like crazy. It's because it's STUNNING!! I mean really beautiful. Every time I make a card with it people always comment on how lovely the paper is. And this card really show cases my favourite sheet in the pack.

Pretty Peacock and Copper are a match made in heaven and even after pairing it with a silver glimmer reindeer (everyone knows you shouldn't mix metallic's) from the snow globe die set, I think this card is simply beautiful.

The sentiment is from, one of my most used stamp sets from the Holiday Catalogue called Itty Bitty Christmas. Its got so many fantastic sentiments and the size are perfect for the smallest rectangle in the stitched rectangle set.

So if you haven't already grabbed yourself a pack of this paper, make sure you add it in your shopping cart today!

Christmas Church - Snow Globe Scenes

Christmas time is well and truly in the air. Our tree is up, the decorations are out and on display and the kids have started eating there way through the advent Calendars that I made from the Countdown to Christmas kit (blog post here)

Today I'm sharing a cute card that I made using the Snow globe dies once again. I've paired up the two little buildings to create this quaint little church. Adding a little piece of copper foil behind the windows, gives it the illusion of light.

I love a clean and simple card and this one is as clean and as simple as it gets. Just a tiny strip of red glimmer to finish it all off.

Some times we don't always need the stamp and die bundle, and it's really perfectly OK to purchase the dies on their own. After all, you can always grab the stamps at a later date if your decided you do want them after all.

The Red Glimmer Reindeer - Dashing Deer

Changing up my colour pallet today and going a wee bit traditional with some red and green and of course gold. Plus you can't get anymore traditional then a reindeer and some tartan!!

I, who hates red and green together, am totally in love with the Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper. I'm not sure if it reminds me of a Christmas dress I had to wear as a girl one year, or if it's the subtle touch of gold foil that runs through every pattern in this pack, but I seriously L.O.V.E this paper.

The dies in the Dashing Deer set are simply stunning and the deer cut in this gold foil just looks stunning in real life. In fact this whole card came together beautifully and it almost makes me want to use red and green together more often... almost!!

Christmas Shaker Card - Still Scenes

How much fun are these Snow globe dies and stamps! I've honestly loved using them and making lots of fun shaker cards. And today's card is no exception.

I used the background of my Polar bear card (which you can find here) and then added the little tree die cuts and stamped the cottage image and added that too.

The coordinating snowflake sequins are perfect for the shaker element. And don't worry if it looks like they have stuck to your dome, give it a couple of days and they will be free falling again, I promise.

The die for the snow globe base is so intricate and pretty and looks amazing cut out in silver glimmer. I'm pretty sure the little girls who is going to receive this card will love it. It's very Frozen!!
