So Glad - Press On

Something a little fun today, playing with a new up coming set from our Holiday Catalogue. This stamp set is called Press On and has these cute little row of coffee cups which I just couldn't wait to stamp and colour in.
My colours look a little muted in this photo, thanks to the dark and wintry days. It's a lot more vibrant in real life and this colour combo together is so beautiful.

I used my versamark inkpad to stamp the little coffee beans in the background, as I felt it needed something subtle.

I've suddenly thought, how cool will this stamp set be along side the Nothing Better Then Bundle!! That's certainly got me thinking...

As always you can purchase any of these items from my online store and the Holiday catalogue items will be available from 4th Aug.

A Happy Accident - Boho Indigo Medley

This card was a very happy accident and just proves that sometimes what's in your head isn't always the best design.

I had originally thought to put the elements into a vanilla background but I didn't like it. I was also using the other side of this designer series paper but again I didn't like it. So as I pulled all the loose pieces off of the card they flipped over and fell onto the night of navy card base and I thought, hmmmm I like that and so this was how this card came about.

I would call this card a simple stamping card and perfect for the beginner stamper. The colours are so gorgeous together and I think that's why this bold design on the pattern paper works so well.

Of course I couldn't pass up using those gorgeous little palm/leaf dies again. I just love those dies, they are the perfect finishing touch to the gorgeous sentiment piece.

I hope you find some craft time this weekend and don't forget to share your creations with me!

Thank You - Boho Indigo

I would never have realised how perfectly Night of Navy pairs with our new 2020/22 Incolor Bumblebee. While playing around with the Boho Indigo medley I felt I needed to an an extra colour to my card and after playing with a few different colours I came across Bumblebee and it was instant perfection, as you can see on today's card.

It almost has a soft gold colour about it and I'm thinking it might be great as a Christmas colour this year. I guess we'll just have to wait and see about that!

I wanted to use the gorgeous coordinating stamp set from this range and I just love this particular little vase. The little paper, beaded flowers are also in the medley and are just the perfect finishing touch.

Oh and do you want to know a secret? The corrugated embossing folder that I've used, retired last year and this is the first time I've used in. It was still in it's packaging in fact!! My hubby would use that as evidence that I have too much stuff, where I see it that I don't have enough time to use my things... perspective I guess!

A Bunch of Birthday Love - Boho Indigo Medley

Happy Monday Guys. I'm back this week with some cards created with the fantastic Boho Indigo Medley, which includes stamps, dies, designer series paper, ribbon and a heap of different types of embellishment. There really is just so much to love about this medley.

Today's card is a birthday card that I made for my friend who loves blue.

The hardest part on making this card was choosing which gorgeous paper I was going to use. This beautiful vine design I think is my favourite of the pack so I obviously used that one on this card.

I absolutely love the little leaf and palm dies in this medley. Those alone make this suite worth buying. I can see myself using those three little dies on pretty much every project I ever make. They are seriously the cutest!

Are you wondering where the sentiment piece came from? Well, the Very Vanilla piece is using a die from the Tasteful Labels die set, but it doesn't have a bigger version. Not a problem, as I just drew around the outside of the metal die with a pencil and fussy cut it out - Voila!!

I have two more Boho Indigo cards to share this week, so make sure you check back in with me!
